- What is Park Pins?
- Park Pins is an iOS app for people who love national parks. You can browse every park on a map, log the parks you've visited, build up your stats and region ranks, share photos from your trips, and follow other explorers.
- How do I track the parks I've visited?
- Open a park from the map or list and log a visit with the date you were there. Each visit drops a pin on your personal map and feeds into your stats. You can add multiple visits to the same park over time.
- What are region ranks?
- As you visit more parks in a region, you climb through bronze, silver, gold, and diamond ranks. It's a fun way to see how much of each part of the country you've explored and what's left on your list.
- Can I share photos and follow other people?
- Yes. You can add photos to any visit and share them to the Explore feed. Search for friends and fellow travelers, follow them, and their posts show up in your Following feed.
- Is Park Pins free?
- Yes — you can browse all parks, log visits, and use the community feed for free. Optional Basic and Premium plans unlock your personal stats tab, more photos per visit, and extra features.
- What do the Basic and Premium plans include?
- Basic unlocks your personal stats tab and up to 10 photos per visit. Premium includes everything in Basic, plus the ability to view other users' stats, submit feature suggestions, and add up to 20 photos per visit.
- How do I sign in?
- Park Pins uses simple email sign-in. Enter your email, get a one-time code, and you're in — no password to create or remember. Your visits and stats sync to your account.
- Is my data secure?
- Yes. Park Pins uses encrypted connections and secure authentication, and your account data is stored with our backend provider. We do not sell your personal information or run advertising trackers.
